KUALA LUMPUR: A part-time despatch rider has been charged in a Cyber Court here with posting an insulting comment addressed to the Inspector-General of Police on his Facebook account.
Rosmin Mohamed Noor, 40, was charged with committing the offence Kg Teluk Bahru 2, Lundang in Kota Bahru, Kelantan at about 10.10am on Sept 22, this year.
Rosmin later claimed trial to the charge under Section 23 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1988.
Judge Zaman Mohd Noor then fixed RM3,000 bail pending mention on Oct 28.
