People’s Charter of Internet Rights and Freedoms

Instead of waiting for the government to tell us what is the kind of Internet we deserve, we should let the government know what kind of Internet we want.

The #NetMerdeka coalition is starting a people-driven process to write up a list of things that we want our Internet to be – and this starts from you.

What kind of Internet do you want?

Should it be free from censorship? Should it be respectful of differences and not be filled with racist/sexist/etc-ist speech? Should users have the responsibility to choose and decide what kind of information they want to access, not a gatekeeper body? Should it support democratic processes? Should it be as enabling to innovation and entrepreneurship as possible?

What is important to you?
