KUALA LUMPUR: Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar has ordered police to probe former minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Zaid Ibrahim over a posting the latter made on Twitter.
Zaid, via his handle zaidibrahim, had tweeted: “Looks like if you are a crooked PM, all you have to do is appoint a crooked AG, and the court will not interfere.”
Khalid, via his Twitter handle @Kbab51, instructed police to summon Zaid over the statement, which he deemed slanderous.
