It is important to note that the maximum ranges quoted by manufacturers are based on a best-case riding scenario that often includes a 75 kg rider, flat terrain, and keeping the scooter in its slowest speed setting. Under realistic conditions, you should expect less mileage. As a rule of thumb, if you ride aggressively (i.e. at top speeds), you will see a 35-45% drop in range. This is just a fact of life when it comes to electric scooters. Don’t worry, though – I’ve included the realistic ranges for each scooter alongside the maximum.

With a maximum range of 30 miles (16 miles under realistic conditions), the X7 Pro delivers the specs without breaking the bank. It’s very rare to find a scooter for under £500 that will take you as far as this one does. Plus, with a relatively speedy recharge time of 6 hours, when your battery does run dry, you’ll be back out on the road before you know it.
If you like the sound of that, buckle up and brace yourself — that’s not even the best part. My favourite thing about this scooter is that, in addition to having a great range, its battery is detachable. This might sound like a minor design decision but, trust me, it’ll have a big impact on your riding experience.
Firstly, it expands the X7 Pro’s range indefinitely. If you’re planning on going on an all-day ride or you just have further to travel, investing in a second battery pack will double the Pro’s mileage capabilities. Simply carry your spare with you, and when the first runs dry, you can swap it out, giving you a whole new 30 miles of travel to play with. Sure, you’ll have to pay extra for the second battery, but it’ll be a lot cheaper than opting for a more expensive model with a 60 mile range.
The detachable battery also makes charging more convenient, especially if you live in a top-floor flat. Rather than having to lug the entire scooter up dozens of stairs, remove the battery and take it with you, leaving the frame in a safe and secure location. This flexibility makes the X7 Pro one of the most convenient scooters, particularly if you’re planning to use it for commuting.
In addition to its innovative battery design, the Pro’s top speed of 20 mph also makes it ideal for city riding. You’ll be able to weave your way safely through busy city streets. As with all scooters, the faster you ride, the quicker your battery will drain so it’s important to remember that aggressive riding will limit how far you can go.
The same goes for hill climbs. The Turboant X7 Pro can handle hills up to 15%, but inclines towards the upper-end of its limit will see the scooter slow significantly. Your battery will have to work a lot harder to sustain its power levels and your charge level will suffer if your route is littered with inclines.
On the other hand, the X7 Pro does come with some handy ways to help you conserve your battery. This includes 3 rider modes: Beginner, Eco, and Sport mode. Beginner and Eco are both designed to help you go further, reducing your speed and energy consumption. The Pro also features an energy saver setting, meaning that it automatically turns off after 10 minutes of no activity, preventing you from wasting precious power.
Because the X7 Pro is designed to handle long journeys, you need to be comfortable while riding. This scooter doesn’t disappoint. It might not come with a suspension system, but its big 10-inch pneumatic tyres work hard to deliver a smooth ride. They help to absorb shocks from cracks and crevices and also have a good grip if you find yourself riding in the rain.
I recommend sticking to smooth, well-maintained paths and roads for the best riding experience. As the X7 Pro is designed to be a city scooter, this shouldn’t be too problematic, but if your routes are rough and you’re likely to encounter potholes, then I recommend opting for a scooter with a superior suspension system like the Apollo Explore or Apollo Ghost.
Safety is another key component to consider when choosing your scooter, and brakes play a large part in this. Thankfully, the X7 Pro comes with three: an electronic throttle brake, a hand-operated disc brake, and a rear foot brake. These all work together to bring you to a stop in as little as 5 meters, which is good for a scooter at this price.
Despite its extensive range, the X7 Pro’s battery hasn’t added too many extra kilograms to the scooter’s overall weight. At 15 kg, it’s easily manageable for most riders and ticks the portability box.
Overall, the X7 Pro is a first-rate commuter option that answers the need for an affordable, long-range scooter that you can rely on. Despite its low price, it boasts a sturdy build and comes with extra features like the LED display and built-in lighting. This scooter proves that long-range doesn’t have to break the bank.
Best 30-35 Mile Scooter
Apollo Explore
The Turboant X7 Pro isn’t the only city-ready scooter that packs a punch when it comes to range. The Apollo Explore also comes with a ton of mileage, alongside a premium performance that’ll appeal to riders with a bigger budget.
Apollo is known for its high-quality scooters and the Explore is no different. Fitted with a 52V 18Ah battery, it delivers a maximum range of 34 miles, outstripping the Turboant and making longer journeys a reality.
Its long range is down to the quality of its battery. Most premium electric scooters opt for batteries made by LG or Samsung, however, the Explore bucks the trend, using a Dynavolt unit instead. These are usually found on motorcycles which shows just how powerful they can be. They promise a lifespan that can last for up to 7 years of use. Plus, if anything does go wrong, your battery’s covered under a 24-month warranty.
Despite their high efficiency, the batteries will drain more quickly if you’re an aggressive rider. You’re likely to only hit the maximum range if you ride in Eco mode, whereas full power will reduce this to around 25 miles. Luckily, the Explore doesn’t have a long recharge time. It takes 8 hours with a standard charger, but you can halve this if you use a fast charger.
This scooter will appeal to you if you want a fast speed to accompany the longer range. With a top pace of 31 mph, the Explore is happy to oblige. For a single motor model, it’s deceptively powerful and can reach 15 mph in just 3.5 seconds. Expect rapid acceleration and torque strong enough to handle 20% inclines with minimal fuss.
Because this scooter has more power to offer than budget models, it also comes with a strong set of brakes. It features robust front and rear disc brakes in addition to an electric regenerative brake. This means that every time you slow down, you’ll send a burst of energy to your battery, prolonging that range even further.
When it comes to rider comfort, the Explore excels. It’s equipped with dual spring suspension that delivers a luxuriously smooth experience across city roads. It’s more than capable of dealing with the majority of urban obstacles and its generous 10-inch tyres add a layer of extra shock absorption.
If you’re planning to head out for an especially long ride and you want to travel in the lap of luxury, the good news is that you can purchase a detachable seat. This fits perfectly onto the Explore’s spacious deck and will give your legs a rest. Whilst you’re at it, you can even initiate cruise control mode to enjoy the a-list scooter experience.
Although made for city streets, the Explore is larger than your typical commuter scooter, weighing 23.6 kg. However, it stands out for its compact folded form thanks to its folding handlebars as well as a telescopic neck and foldable stem. This makes it more manageable for lifting and very easy to store. The convenience of this will appeal to daily commuters.
Regular riders will also appreciate the number of lights – perfect for riding in the dark. It features an LED stem light as well as headlights, dual taillights, and under-deck lighting.
Located on the handlebars is the LCD display that gives full visibility over your speed and battery. Experienced riders will be able to tweak with the Explore’s P-settings. This includes choosing between different start modes, as well as adjusting your regenerative braking strength, and choosing between imperial and metric measurement systems. In short, you can tailor the Explore to suit your riding preferences.
Given that the Explore presents a more premium riding experience, it also has the price tag to match. It’ll cost you £1,145, which is a big jump up from the Turboant, however, you’ll get a longer range, increased speed, and luxurious ride quality for the extra cash. As such, the Explore is ideal for city riders that plan to use their scooter a lot and are looking for a model that will last for many long-range rides to come.
Best 35-40 Mile Scooter:
Apollo Ghost
Like the Explore, the Ghost is another great option from Canadian-based scooter aficionados, Apollo. However, its gut-wrenching power and the haunting glide of its ride make it a totally different riding experience.
One thing these two scooters do have in common is their promising mileage, with the Ghost beating the Explore by just a few miles. The Ghost offers a maximum travel distance of 39 miles when driven conservatively. If you ride consistently in the highest power setting and flick between full acceleration and leisurely exploration, you’re likely to see around 25 miles.
If you read the Apollo Explore review (above), you may be asking yourself why the realistic mileage of the Ghost matches that of the Explore even though it is more expensive. There’s one reason for this and that is because of the dual motors. More power is needed to keep both wheels rolling as opposed to the single motor in the Explore. If you are stuck between choosing which one to get, I recommend opting for the Ghost if speed and superior ride comfort is what you’re after.
The range on offer comes from its 52V 18.2 Ah battery, made up of industry-leading Dynavolt batteries. These are the same as those you’ll find on many of Apollo’s scooters and although the name might be unfamiliar to you, they demonstrate a similar level of quality as the likes of LG.
To be more specific, the Ghost’s battery setup will last for around 600 charging cycles. If you charge your scooter 3 times a week, it’ll keep going for roughly 4 years before you need to consider swapping the battery out for a newer unit.
When it does come to recharging, the Ghost features two charging ports to help cut your waiting time down. Using both of these will get you back out on the road in around 6 hours, whereas using only one port or a standard charger will double this.
The more conservatively you ride, the longer your battery will last, however, you’ll find this tricky on the Ghost. Why? Well, it has so much power thrumming through its 29 kg frame that you’ll have a hard time resisting the lure of its gutsy throttle.
This scooter can reach a high of 34 mph thanks to its dual 800W motors. These deliver an astonishing peak output of 2000W, taking you from 0 to 15 mph in 3.1 seconds and 25 mph in a mere 5.3. This makes it faster than the Apollo Explore and as a result, has an acceleration curve that will have experienced riders grinning from ear to ear.
This torque also allows you to triumph over steep hills with ease. This is ideal for off-road routes or hilly urban commutes, however, bear in mind that the more hills you tackle, the faster your battery with drain.
To combat this, you can try riding as much as possible in the lowest of the three gears for optimum power consumption. You’ll be forgiven though for turning things up a notch or two now and again.
For a beginner, the Ghost’s speed might be a bit too much to handle, however, it does come with an incredibly powerful set of brakes to increase your ride control. It’s fitted with dual disc brakes that deliver a stopping distance of around 7 meters from 25 mph which is very impressive.
It also comes with a regenerative brake that helps to extend battery life even further. Each time you pull on the brakes, the Ghost will collect the kinetic energy wasted while braking and route it to the battery, topping up its power levels as you go.
A longer range means you’re going to be spending more time in a single position on your scooter’s deck, so it’s a good thing this scooter has you covered in the comfort department. Unlike the Apollo Explore, which is equipped with fixed springs, the Ghost has an adjustable spring suspension system and plush 10-inch pneumatic tyres. The combination of these alongside the swingarm design allows for an increased amount of travel, meaning the Ghost can not only effectively soak up surface imperfections on urban terrain, but can take on dirt tracks, forest trail, and hiking paths all whilst protecting your joints from any unwanted jarring.
This also boosts your balance and stability so that riders up to 136 kg can enjoy what the Ghost has to offer. Rider weight can affect the total mileage of a scooter, so it’s worth bearing in mind that if you sit closer to the top end of the weight limit, your average range will be slightly lower.
With all the extra miles the Ghost offers, you might find yourself out and about after the sun goes down, but don’t sweat it. This scooter has some serious lighting to help you with nighttime excursions. Fitted with low-mounted dual LEDs in both the front and the rear as well as LED strips down both sides of the deck, the Ghost has an otherworldly glow that’s bright enough to keep you visible and help you see the road ahead.
The Ghost is reassuringly well-built with an aluminium frame and fenders for increased wheel protection. It also boasts an IP54 water-resistance rating so that you won’t have to worry about dust and damage from water splashes on those longer rides. Plus, when you get home, its folding handlebars and collapsible stem make it a dream to store.
Abandoning Apollo’s typical white, black, and electric-blue colouring, the Ghost sports a more understated aesthetic that perfectly matches its skeletal frame. Not only does it look distinguished, but it rides like a dream, capable of long-distance journeys and incredible speed. At £1,499, you’ll get a lot for your money.
Super Long-Range Reviews (40-60 Miles)
Apollo Phantom
Like the look of the Apollo Ghost but want something with a longer range, more power, and a more luxurious premium finish? Say no more — you’re going to love the Ghost’s older sibling, the brand-new Apollo Phantom.

The Phantom just beats the Ghost when it comes to range, offering 40 miles, which is a single mile more than its younger brother. The difference lies mainly in the size of their batteries, with the Phantom boasting a 52V 23.4Ah unit (vs the Ghost’s 52V 18.2aH). Aside from this, though, the makeup of the battery is identical, with both using Dynavolt cells.
These are an Apollo favourite and, as I’ve mentioned before, have proved time and time again that they’re capable of top performance. Most commonly used to power electric motorcycles, they deliver more travel time even if you prefer to ride more aggressively, promising around 30 miles.
The overall lifecycle of the battery is pretty impressive too. With the smart battery management system, you can expect to see around 500 charge cycles. If you recharge your scooter 3 times a week, your battery will last 3 years before you see any drop in performance. When it comes to recharging, the Phantom has two charging ports like the Ghost, and with a fast charger, or two standard chargers, you can hop aboard again in just 6 hours.
It’s clear that the Phantom and the Ghost are fairly similar in a few ways so why does Apollo’s newest scooter cost £250 more? Well, put simply, the Phantom offers a more premium ride and that starts with the power it has to offer.
This spectre of a scooter can reach up to 38 mph, which is 4 mph faster than its younger brother. The power of the larger 1200W dual motors (compared to the Ghosts 800W dual motors), really shines when it comes to acceleration. The Phantom can reach 0-15 mph in a mere 2.5 seconds vs the Ghosts 3.1, making it 25% faster.
Plus, when riding with both motors engaged, it can put out an enormous 3200W of power giving it the torque needed to take on 46% slopes.
What’s really great about the Phantom is that even though it’s more powerful than the Ghost, it’s a far more sophisticated ride.
Everything about this scooter is next-gen, but nothing more so than the brand-new, innovative HEX display. Positioned in the centre of the handlebars, it adds to the Phantom’s overall slick aesthetic whilst bringing an extra dose of functionality.
Like all good displays, you can monitor your speed and battery, but that’s not all. The HEX has a feature that allows you to predict your remaining mileage, based on your most recent acceleration patterns. I’ve never seen anything like this before and it’s an awesome way to help eke your range out. Based on what the indicator says, you can judge and adjust your riding style to get the most from your remaining range and make it go even further.
I’m as much a fan of innovation as the next guy or gal, but it’s also important to get the basics right, especially on a scooter that can go as fast as this one. Fitting the Phantom with a strong set of dual mechanical disc brakes for reliable stopping power, Apollo delivers the full package. It has a regenerative brake too, which gives the battery an extra burst of power every time you brake. You can even control the strength of it via the HEX display.
However, if you can stretch your pockets, I highly recommend upgrading to the hydraulic brake version of the Phantom. It costs £150 more, totalling £1,899, but it is well worth the extra cash since they deliver the power to stop at a dime.
Its ride quality scores full points, too. Apollo nails the Phantom’s overall construction, delivering a sturdy machine capable of supporting 136 kg and weighing a surprisingly reasonable 34.9 kg. The wide deck and rear footrest make for a comfortable riding position, whilst the long stem allows even the tallest of riders to be comfortable.
But it wouldn’t be a next-gen Apollo scooter without an element of that famous innovation, which is where this bad boy’s quadruple suspension comes in. Yep, you heard that right – a never-seen-before quadruple shock system. And, trust me, it blows the competition out of the water. Alongside the Phantom’s 10-inch pneumatic tyres, it serves up great shock absorption for a plush ride across bumpy and uneven surfaces. Wave goodbye to vibrating wrists, rattling arms, and shaking knees, and say hello to buttery-smooth rides.
With the mileage and ride comfort this scooter has to offer, it’s a good thing that the Phantom has an array of lighting better than most other models I’ve reviewed. It sports a super-bright 1000W lumen headlight as well as two front deck lights and dedicated brake light on the footrest. It also boasts rear turn signals to keep other road users aware of your riding intentions.
The Phantom is the result of a whole lot of research, customer feedback, and extensive stress testing, with the final product screaming pioneering refinement. Its specs are to-die-for and its understated aesthetic gives it a stylish and slick edge that will appeal to anyone with a passion for electric scooters. Available for £1,749, the Phantom is ideal if you want cutting-edge tech and a whole lot of miles to show it off.

It’s not just the range that helps it to steal the show. It performs in other areas too, most notably its rapid pace. Boasting powerful dual motors, each with a nominal output of 1000W, the Pro can reach 40 mph, easily keeping up with inner-city traffic. Its acceleration is astonishingly fast, too. It can rocket off fast enough to make your eyes water, and its insane torque will make short work of 30% inclines. To be precise, it can hit 15 mph in around 2 seconds, and 25 mph in 4.
However, everyone knows that maximum acceleration and regular hill-climbs are sure-fire ways to drain your battery faster. With the Mantis Pro’s single mode, you can get the best of both worlds. Riding in this setting only engages one motor, lowering your power consumption and helping you to go further whilst still allowing you to reach a zippy 30 mph. As the newer, more powerful sibling to the monstrous Wolf Warrior, the King deftly steals the crown for the off-road champion. It’s packing a 72V 28Ah LG battery unit that gives it a maximum range of 50 miles – plenty of travel to make the most of its gutsy power and awesome off-road capabilities.
When you’re riding a scooter like this, you’re going to find it pretty hard to hold back on the throttle. You’d be forgiven for giving in to this instinct and letting this baby fly up to its stomach-clenching top speed of 60 mph.
With a maximum output of 6270W from its massive dual 1500W motors, the King has a, quite frankly, ridiculous acceleration rate (0-15 mph in 1.9 seconds, and 30 mph in 4.9) and a level of torque specifically designed to tear up even the steepest hills. This beast can devour slopes up to a stunning 45 degrees (100% incline grade). It’s a good thing it comes with full hydraulic brakes — the best on the entire market, and a fitting match, to counter its insane power.
This scooter is a dream if you are an adrenaline junkie, however, this level of power isn’t always the best thing for your battery. If you ride the King with both motors, the range realistically drops down to around 35 miles.
If this sudden drop is more than you were anticipating, fear not. The Wolf King comes with two charging ports to make getting back out on the road fast. Using double chargers (one fast and one standard) will give you a full recharge in just 5 hours. This is incredibly quick given the travel time the King can deliver.
Hoping for more? Check out the Wolf Warrior. The King’s younger sibling doesn’t deliver quite as much speed and power, but what you lose here, you make up in its 70 mile range. It’s slightly cheaper than the Wolf King, too.

Of course, this kind of sturdy construction has its downsides, primarily felt in its enormous 47.6 kg bulk. This is not a portable scooter, but given that it has an extensive mileage, you’re unlikely to need to carry this tank-like scooter.

Without a doubt, the Ox Super’s standout feature is its 56-mile range. Powered by a beefy LG battery, this scooter really can go the distance, putting the joy into long journeys and commutes.
Of course, as with all electric scooters, the advertised range is based on a rider weight of 75 kg, flat terrain, and conservative riding behaviour. Realistically, you won’t hit all of these categories perfectly all of the time, so you can expect a lower range of 36 miles on average, which is still no small amount.
When you do need to recharge, the Ox Super isn’t one of those scooters that can claim a quick turnaround. A full recharge will take between 10-12 hours. This is fairly lengthy, but not too inconvenient if you charge it overnight. Even though it is a longer recharge, I would always advise plugging your scooter in for the full amount stated by the manufacturer as this is the key to keeping your battery healthy for longer.
Above, I mentioned that the Ox Super isn’t an ultra-speedy scooter and that’s part of the reason why it can claim such great mileage. Fitted with a single 800W motor that’s capable of getting up to 28 mph, the power from the battery only has to manage the demands of one motor as opposed to two (which drains more battery and reduces range). This is the ideal speed for inner-city riding – it’s not too slow and it doesn’t break any sound barriers either — it hits the perfect sweet spot.
Because of its single motor, the Ox Super’s acceleration on both flat and sloped surfaces isn’t the fastest. It takes a while to get going (0-15 mph in 5.3 seconds), however, it is exceptionally smooth and linear, making this a great option for a first-timer looking to get to grips with the way electric scooters feel and function.
The throttle is operated by pressing down on an ergonomic thumb pad which is a great design feature on a scooter with the Super’s range. It’s much kinder on your joints and your fingers won’t get tired from holding that unnatural claw-like position you commonly have to adopt with a trigger throttle.
Even with its gentle acceleration rate, the Ox Super comes fitted with industry-leading brakes for superb stopping power. Putting you firmly in control, the front drum and rear disc brake are strong and responsive, allowing a punctual stop whenever you need it.
The Ox Super has been designed to put range first, so INOKIM has made sure that it also delivers a top-quality, near-silent ride quality to keep riders comfortable on those long journeys. Fitted with 10 by 2.5-inch pneumatic tyres, the Super has ample shock absorption and excellent traction for a stable and steady ride.
That’s not even the best bit. My favourite element of the Super is its INOKIM-pioneered rubber suspension. It’s fairly stiff but soaks up vibrations from road imperfections like a champ. It features two different settings — low and high — for optimum performance on different terrains. Opt for the high mode for a softer ride suited to rougher terrain or go low for a stable high-speed experience.
INOKIM has a reputation for quality — its patented suspension is proof of that and so is the fact that every single element of the Super has been custom-made and created specifically to fit together. This is very rare in the world of scooter design but is a major point in the Super’s favour because it reduces the risk of structural weaknesses. The last thing you want is ominous creaking and clanking when you’re 45 miles deep into a ride.
Another benefit of its extended travel potential is that you’ll have plenty of time to show off its fresh aesthetic. With its black body and fiery orange accents, you’ll have no problem picking this guy out of a lineup. It’s not just about style either — the Super comes complete with a digital display and LED front and rear lights for the full package. However, I suggest buying additional lights if you’re planning regular nighttime trips.
It is a natural choice for long-range commutes, however, at 27.7 kg it is on the heavy side. This is largely down to its bigger battery and sturdy frame, so you won’t want to carry it for any length of time. Even folded, lugging it up a few sets of stairs will make your back ache.
If you’re looking for a long-range scooter with superior ride quality and out-of-this-world premium design, the Ox Super is a great option. It won’t get your adrenaline pumping if you’re a confessed speed fiend, but if range is your main priority, you can’t go far wrong.
Available for £1,398, this isn’t a cheap scooter, especially compared to the likes of the impressive Apollo Ghost and Phantom, however, the INOKIM name adds a big chunk to the price tag. This is because it’s synonymous with a superior design that will last for years to come.

Topping that list is its formidable range. The Cruiser is fitted with a massive, high-quality 52V 30.5Ah LG battery that allows you to travel up to 62 miles on a single charge (48 miles under realistic conditions). This is by far the longest range you’ll see on a scooter designed specifically for commuters and is triple the size of the battery on the Turboant X7 Pro.
Comparing the total mileage to comparable scooters in our database, the EMOVE Cruiser’s value for money beams with positive glory. The average cost of scooters with a range sitting around the 57-67 mark (5 miles either side of the Cruiser’s 62), is £1,810. Here, the Cruiser is 31% cheaper than comparable models and if we look at the price alone, its closest competitors – the Apollo Explore (£1,145) and Apollo Ghost (£1,499) – fall short by a considerable amount. The Cruiser beats the Explore’s range by 82% (28 more miles) and the Ghost’s by 59% (23 more miles).

The Cruiser wouldn’t be a high-performing scooter if it didn’t come with an awesome, city-ready top speed. Capable of reaching 25 mph, you’ll be able to easily weave through traffic.
It's fitted with a single 1000W motor – which, although it has a slower top speed than the single-motored INOKIM Ox Super (28 mph) – it’s far quicker off the mark, propelling you to 15 mph in just 3.4 seconds (compared to the Super’s 5.3).
However, there is a downside to having a single motor. Although the Cruiser can handle slopes with a 36% incline grade which is more than enough for the majority of inclines, the lack of a motor in either wheel makes for slower hill climbs. For context, the Cruiser can take on Filbert Street, one of San Francisco’s steepest inclines, which has a gradient of 31.5% but it slows considerably.
Its hill-climbing capability beat that of the Turboant X7 Pro and INOKIM Ox Super, is on par with the Apollo Explore, and falls short compared to the rest of the scooters in the Long, Super, and Extreme Range lists. Nevertheless, if you live in an area that isn’t comparable to San Francisco, then the Cruiser will serve you fine.
Safety is an important consideration when it comes to all electric scooters, and your brakes make up a big part of this. The dual hydraulic brakes on the Cruiser are another of its standout features. Together they deliver sharp and responsive braking, giving you great control when making your way through busy city environments. The only other scooters in this list that match the Cruiser’s brakes are the Mantis Pro (£1,750), Wolf King (£2,899), INOKIM OxO (£2,199), Wolf Warrior (£2,599), and VSETT 10+R (£2,195). It’s clear from the prices of these scooters that the Cruiser packs a punch for a fraction of the cost.
Lighting is also instrumental in keeping you safe. The Cruiser positively glows when the sun sets thanks to its extensive lighting setup, including a bright headlight as well as red deck lights, and rear tail light.

Luckily, the foot deck of the OxO is wide enough to give good balance as well as ensuring a comfortable stance. However, INOKIM has kept the smartly-designed thumb throttle from the Ox. This helps look after your hands and wrists on longer rides, stopping fatigue from having your finger in a claw-like position pulling down on the trigger-throttle that you’ll find on many other high-performance models.
Speaking of longer journeys, what does the range of the OxO look like? The powerful LG lithium-ion battery promises an incredible running range of 68 miles based on optimal conditions, but realistically it’s hard not to enjoy the power this scooter has under its hood, meaning you can expect a range more so in the region of 45 miles.
Unfortunately, the charging time is between 12-14 hours which is much longer than other scooters that I’ve reviewed in this list. Luckily, there are ways you can preserve battery, such as the handy button positioned underneath the left handgrip. This lets you swap between single and dual motor mode so you can hit those top speeds when you need to, but otherwise, you can choose to save on battery life and swap the thrill for prolonged battery life.
At some point though, you’re going to want to push for that 40 mph limit. If you do find your speed getting away from you, there’s nothing to worry about – INOKIM has got you covered. The OxO is outfitted with best-in-class front and rear hydraulic brakes that deliver highly responsive braking power on all terrain. At first, I couldn’t believe the amount of power that this beast puts out, it will let you enjoy mile after mile after mile to your heart’s content. This monster comes fitted with an abundantly large 60V 35Ah LG battery, delivering enough power so you can ride continuously for an enormous 70 miles on a single charge (35-40 miles with both motors engaged and the pedal to the metal). This is about quintuple the typical range you’ll see on most run-of-the-mill budget scooters. Alongside the Wolf King, the Warrior is in a whole other league.
Whether you want to go for a long cross-country adventure, complete your daily commute, or just a ride across the park on a Sunday afternoon, you can rely on the Warrior to get you to your destination and back again, and still have juice left to do it all over again the next day.
It’s not just the Wolf’s range that will have you gaping — its speed is pretty breathtaking. It’s hard to put the power of the Wolf Warrior into words but if you’ve ever seen a drag race between two highly tuned sports cars then that is what you can expect. The acceleration is so rapid that you can spin the tyres as you turn the throttle. Expect to hit 15 mph in 1.9 seconds, and 30 mph in 5.2.

The point I am trying to make is that the Warrior has, pound for pound, one of the best batteries in the game. After all, it was designed and manufactured by LG, the multinational electronics company.
The Wolf is suited to a variety of riding styles, but at its heart, it’s built for tearing up off-road tracks. What better way to spend 70 miles than ripping up and down some seriously fun mountain paths? You can choose whether you want the scooter to come with street-grade racing tyres or specialist knobby off-road alternatives. Both sets have a three-dimensional tread pattern that improves traction on all surfaces and the airless design makes them more resistant to flats. Both have great shock absorption to keep you comfortable.
The bulk of riding comfort comes from the motorcycle-grade inverted hydraulic front shock absorbers and dual rear springs. The Wolf gracefully combines the best of both suspension types to deliver a level of shock absorption that is only beaten by the Dualtron X and X 2 – both of which are more than double the price.
They soak up impacts from the smallest imperfections to the biggest obstacles and make your riding experience as comfortable as possible. If you’re planning to spend a lot of time on your scooter, you’ll be grateful for it after a few hours of riding. Not even rock-strewn terrain can hold the Wolf back which is why I rated it as having a best-in-class suspension system.
With such an astonishing top speed comes risk and with risk comes the increased need for safety features. Imagine flying down the road at 50 mph and needing to come to a quick stop — you want to be confident that your scooter will slow down in a safe and controlled manner. The Wolf has been fitted with full hydraulic brakes that are far more efficient at slowing you down than the widely used simple mechanical disc brake setup.
The safety precautions don’t stop there though, it also has an anti-lock braking system that stops the wheels from locking up and skidding as you brake. This kind of technology has existed on larger personal transportation devices, like cars, for years. You can ride confidently in the knowledge that your scooter is packed with the best in the business.
It’s almost impossible to overstate how awesome the Wolf Warrior is. It delivers power, speed, and range in excess and is perfect for riders that are always looking for more. It’s truly worthy of its superior dual disc hydraulic brakes. These guarantee smooth and consistent braking from high speeds, so you won’t feel like you’re about to go over the handlebars if you need to brake abruptly. However, I do recommend that when you apply the brakes at high speeds, you should use the rear for deacceleration and then gradually introduce the front to increase stopping power. Shifting your weight to the back of the scooter will give you more control, too.
This sense of control also comes from the large pneumatic tyres. Measuring 10 inches tall and 3 inches wide, there aren’t many that are much bigger. Their wide contact patch helps to keep you balanced when travelling at high speeds. They also work to cushion against impact, alongside the high-quality, dual hydraulic coil suspension.
The suspension system has a good bounce to it, meaning it is at home across a variety of terrains – you can head off-road if you want to. Equally, it performs well on urban roads if you’re more of a city cruiser.
The only unwanted byproduct of the excellent suspension system is that, although the headlight is bright, its placement on the front fender, directly above the tyre, can cause the light to bounce up and down when the suspension is depressed and the fender rotates backwards at an angle. This issue is only noticeable over rough terrain, city riding is fine. Aside from the headlight issue, it has a thorough lighting setup – the taillights, flashing brake lights, and integrated turn signals are ideal.
As a next-gen scooter, you’d expect it to boast some special features outside of its awesome speed and range. To put it simply, it doesn’t disappoint.
